Our company was founded on the concept leveraging skills developed by serving as a firefighter, to offer a valuable set of services to homeowners.
About the Owner
Firehouse Home Services, LLC is owned and operated by Chris Dorgan. A lifelong resident of Chester County, he lives in Unionville with his wife and three children. Outside of work and family, he's an active volunteer firefighter, fire company trustee, and Cub Scout Den Leader.
His favorite part of operating Firehouse Home Services, LLC is the opportunity to meet new people and seeing customer's reaction to their freshly cleaned house!
Our Story
Firehouse Home Services, LLC was founded in 2021, following months of extensive research, planning, and evaluation.
After hearing many stories from friends describing their frustration of finding home service providers who are communicative, professional, and deliver a quality service - it was clear that building a home services business that focused on these traits would be embraced by Chester County homeowners.
Our objective was to identify a home services offering that best aligned with our personal strengths and interests. After evaluating several potential service offerings, it was obvious that power washing was the answer. In particular, because...

Our Process
Firehouse Home Services, LLC's chosen method of house washing is called Soft Washing. Soft washing mainly relies on a cleaning solution to clean, rather than high-pressure. Cleaning with high-pressure (or pressure washing) carries an increased risk of damage, this is why most manufacturers of residential building materials recommend cleaning via soft washing, instead of cleaning with high-pressure. Pressure Washing is appropriate for only the most durable surfaces, such as concrete and stone.
Soft Washing is far more effective at delivering consistent and thorough cleaning results. Our cleaning solution dissolves the organic material (i.e. algae, lichen, moss, insect debris, spider webs, etc.), all of which dull the appearance of a home.
We begin by using a long reach brush to remove cobwebs and other larger debris from the home. This provides a valuable opportunity to inspect the exterior of your home for any special attention. Removable tape used to protect exterior outlets from water intrusion, as well as using tarps to protect any stained doors or sensitive landscaping. Then clean the exterior of the home via soft washing.
We utilize custom, commercial-grade power washing equipment, capable of pumping water volumes 2-3 times that of a residential power washer. This increased volume allows us to reach heights over 3-stories from the ground.
